elysian Mark charity art group
In February 2020, Canadian writer Mélodie Rivers and South African artist BrankaArts, founded Elysian Mark C.A.G., a sister company to Rivers' first enterprise, Elysian Mark, following its same ethics: compassion, kindness, mutual aid, and solidarity.
Indeed, as Elysian Mark had been founded to promote beginner, underknown and underrated artists struggling in the ocean of art, popularity, and better social media presence, Elysian Mark C.A.G. was founded to lend a hand to those in need which are too often set aside by fundraising organizations and governmental grants for missing specific criterias.
May it be: a privately studying young adult who is struggling with the cost of life, yet is refused student-oriented grants because he/she does not study at an university or a college.
Or maybe it's an elderly couple that became stricken with medical issue too early in their years, whom are struggling between 700$ of medical bills and 700$ of mortgage, and who are refused elderly grants because they do not yet have the required age.
Or even a mono-parental mother or father, working hard to ensure her/his children's survival, faced with a harsh financial system and a high cost of life, and who will be refused financial support as she/he is able-bodied and without disability or medical issues.
And it also concerns homelessness, medical emergencies, disability, people who do not have enough families and friends to spread the word of their help request; whose related shelters and centers are often too overcrowded, or underfunded, and unable to accept any more requests despite their admirable efforts.
Elysian Mark C.A.G. was thus founded to first and foremost assess and share such situations, and when possible, through the funds gathered by the art sales or by the abilities of its volunteers, to provide in its best abilities any form of services, support, and help, without any discrimination.
For that goal, Mélodie Rivers and BrankaArts are proudly joined by a team of talented and compassionate artists, united together against the unjust rise of poverty, and hoping, together, to mitigate it, or at least, share the awareness.
That is the major goal of Elysian Mark C.A.G. Uniting artists with local and worldwide communities, and perhaps one day, fulfilling its mission, the meaning behind the company's hummingbird logo:
Realizing the impossible, and creating a world where perhaps enough awareness will be raised, and families can live in a world without poverty.
